As a Latina Mamá expecting twins, I became frustrated by the lack of baby goods reflecting the sabor of childhood. Fruitless hours spent searching through boutiques and online stores served as the spark to create a full collection of children’s clothing and accessories inspired by my own Spanglish childhood. After leaving a career in Television Development to raise my children, I worked tirelessly building relationships with artisans from around the globe and achieved my dream by launching littlepoco in 2007.

Littlepoco equips niños with unique, high-quality clothing and surprisingly functional goods that still bring a smile. I want to proudly share the unexpected ways that beauty inhabits our culture. The imagery of littlepoco captivates the senses by drawing from our lively cultural heritage. Reminiscent of the smells and sounds of family get-togethers, littlepoco offers the same taste of dulce that was always spilling out of abuelita’s purse.

In the spirit of our global community, I have chosen to utilize fair-trade products and women owned businesses as well as stay at home mom artisans throughout the US. By making sure these women are fairly compensated for the incredible work that they do, we are helping support their future success and establishing a positive alternative to mass manufacturing.

My passion for featuring unique, fair-trade conscious baby and children’s clothing along with specially selected accessories, toys & books has continued to grow. littlepoco’s philosophy is to carry toys that encourage simple, homegrown skills that allow a child’s mind to grow and develops their creativity. Our thoughtfully selected toys & crafts encourage adults to get involved in the activities, building strong relationships and opening the lines of communication. Complementing the Latino aesthetic which has served as littlepoco’s foundation, hand crafted designs from South Asia, Africa, East Asia and across North America reflect a well-curated, global flavor.
